Challenge:  I wanted to create a refreshed brand identity for Stella’s Fish Cafe that better represents their excellent products, hip restaurant and young customer base. I also wanted to update their website to better communicate vital information to users and provide an easy platform for patrons to contact the restaurant.   Strategy:  I started with research of the current restaurant customer base as well as local competitors. Refreshed branding and high quality product images would feature heavily on the website as well as multiple links to social media. Featuring Stella’s extensive menu of seafood, I knew the website would need to be regularly updated with new menu items and upcoming events.   Results:  Ultimately, the Stella’s Fish Cafe website is a simpler, more visual site that encourages users to interact on social media, attend events and view current menus. The updated brand identity is young, clean and fresh. Featuring vital information like hours of operation, location, menus and contact field, the website is much more user friendly and useful.
